| Pressley Associates and landscape historian, Cynthia Zaitzevsky, prepared a three-volume Cultural Landscape Report including a site history, analysis of integrity and significance, and treatment alternatives.
| The Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, New Hampshire, is an exceptional cultural landscape that expresses the design aesthetic of its owner and creator, sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It is also a well-preserved example of a type of garden that was popular in the early 20th century: gardens that were Italian in inspiration, but highly personal in detail. In 1965, the property, formerly known as "Aspet," became a National Historic Site. Pressley Associates' Cultural Landscape Report for this National Historic Landmark, documented the history and significance of site, with treatment alternatives consistent with theSecretary's Standards. Volume I was published in the NPS Cultural Landscape Publication Series as a model for other historic property managers. | National Park Service
